We continued our flight with an AMAZING day 2! All of us had a uplifting time in the worship hall singing our hearts out to God and praising Him with the theme song and a song we learned yesterday, Remarkable. After a wonderful time of songs and praise, the passengers watched a short and meaningful movie about God’s protection and how He always watches over us. Captain Joshua gave an invigorating devotion about God’s ability to save us from sin and death and His great mercy towards us.
Next, the passengers flew to their respective classes to hear from Word of God. Their teachers taught them about the miraculous story of Daniel in the lion’s den and how God protected him from the mouths of the lions, taken from Daniel chapter 6. The passengers learned about God’s power over circumstances.
Then, as the VBS Bell rang, the passengers travelled from site to site, learning more about God and His power over all things. First, they travelled to the Matterhorn , where they learned some cool actions and moves to the beat of ‘If God’. The passengers were very delighted and eager to learn the steps of the song, and under the guidance of the music team, they quickly mastered the song and were soon dancing and singing to the words of this meaningful song.
Next, they flew to the Grand Canyon for recreation and some exciting games. They played a well known game called ‘What Time Is It, Mr. Lion?’ The Grand Canyon was filled with sounds of laughter and excitement.
Soon after, the passengers stopped at the Paricutin Volcano for snacks and drinks. They had tasty Spaghetti Propellers, Magma Milk and zesty Orange Juice. After they were refreshed and full, they blasted off with a ZOOM! to the next station, Missions Under The Northern Lights. There, they learned about the state of Sarawak , and how we could spread the gospel to the people who still have not heard about the Word. They also learned that we have to rely on God’s holy power in order to spread the gospel effectively to the ends of the earth.
Lastly, the passengers flew off to their last destination, The Great Barrier Reef to do some crafts. Today, they made a fridge magnet in the shape of an envelope, to keep their mail in.
After all the exciting activities, the passengers returned to the Victoria Falls for their closing session of bible study. They swiftly finished the lesson and today’s topic, and then headed off to the Hangar for yet another time of praise and worship. After they sang the songs that they learned, they zoomed home to prepare for another day of fun and learning about God’s work.
